Yasmin was born in Turkmenistan, a former Soviet Union territory. She has been studying ballet from the age of 6 and bellydancing from the age of 9.
At the age of 8 Yasmin moved to Italy. Throughout her education she has attended dancing schools in Russia, Malta, Rimini, and Milan. She has also attended the school of Gianni Zara, a former dancer at La Scala Theater, and been privately tutored by the famous Russian dancer Maya.
Yasmin has participated in the World Festival of the Oriental Stars in Cairo in 2005 and at the Festival of Oriental Dances in Torino in 2007.
